Terms and Conditions

These terms govern your use of the services provided by Nature Norway. By participating in activities offered by Nature Norway, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

Safety and Liability:
a.Nature Norway is not responsible for any personal injuries, losses, damages or expenses incurred during the trip, unless negligence on our part can be proven.
b. Participants must acknowledge and assume all risks associated with the tours, including, but not limited to, weather conditions, unforeseen events and the actions of other participants.
c. Cruise guarantee (for guests who booked with us and arrive in Kristiansand by cruise ship):
a) Back to ship. We plan the tour so that you are back ashore at least 1.5 hours before your ship departs. We follow the ship's schedule, adapt our departures and shorten the tour if needed. This requires that you arrive on time and follow the guide's instructions.
b) Delayed ship. If the ship is delayed, we will move you to a later departure. Email hello@naturnorge.no as soon as you know. If you are late yourself, contact us immediately; we will do our best but cannot guarantee that the boat will wait or that you will be refunded.
c) Cancelled call. If the cruise ship has cancelled its call at Kristiansand, contact us at hello@naturnorge.no to request a refund, even inside the cancellation window.
d) Not covered. Circumstances outside our control and not caused by us, such as hospital or medical treatment after an injury or illness, your own delay, leaving the tour or group, or decisions by the cruise line or port. We do not cover costs of reaching the ship or travelling on. We recommend travel insurance.
e) Liability. Beyond a–c, Nature Norway is not liable for missed ship departures or consequential costs, unless we have acted with intent or gross negligence.

Reservations and cancellations:
a. Reservations can be made in advance via our website, our partners or by contacting Nature Norway directly. Reservation is subject to availability.
b. Individual bookings: free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. Group bookings are invoiced at booking: free cancellation no later than 15 days before, 50% refund from 14 days to 48 hours before, no refund later than 48 hours before.
c. For customers who have booked a trip in advance with the expectation of arriving in Kristiansand by cruise ship: If the cruise ship has cancelled its call at Kristiansand, contact us at hello@naturnorge.no to request a refund, even inside the 24-hour window set for regular cancellations.
d. Nature Norway reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to inclement weather, unforeseen circumstances or insufficient number of bookings. In such cases, participants will be offered an alternative tour or a full refund.

Age and health requirements:
a. Participants must be at least 6 years old to join the rib tour. Minors under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
b. Participants must be in good health and free from any medical conditions that may be aggravated by the RIB tour. It is the responsibility of the participant to assess their suitability for the trip.

Behavior and rules:
a. Participants must follow the instructions and guidelines provided by Nature Norway staff during the tour.
b. Participants must treat fellow participants, employees and property with respect. Disruptive, disrespectful or dangerous behavior may result in termination of the trip without a refund.

Intellectual Property Rights:
a. Nature Norway retains all intellectual property rights relating to its services, including, but not limited to, photographs, videos and other promotional materials.

Privacy Policy:
a. Nature Norway respects your privacy and handles your personal data in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Please see our privacy policy for more information.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction:
This agreement is governed by Norwegian law. Any dispute arising in connection with or related to this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Norwegian courts.
