RIB Speed Sightseeing
Experience Norway's most popular coastal strip on a RIB tour.
note: We offer drop-in tickets at our pier when there are cruise ships in Kristiansand.
About the trip
Enjoy a fantastic tour of the archipelago outside Kristiansand. The trip takes one hour in our powerful RIB and consists of 3 speed stages and several sequences that take place at slow speed with plenty of time for photography. Experience beautiful coastal scenery, historic sites and traditional architecture. You will get a life jacket and we have thermal suits available to keep you warm and dry when the temperature outside is low.

The trip requires normal health, but is not recommended for heavily pregnant women or guests with back and neck injuries. The age limit for children is normally 6 years, but this can be assessed according to the child's height.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there room for luggage on board?
Yes, there is plenty of luggage on board the boats and you can store bags and bags under the seats that are waterproof as well as protected from the elements. It is also possible to store your luggage safely with us on our premises while you are on a trip.
What should I bring?
Since it can often be a little colder at sea than it is on land, you may want to be dressed according to the conditions, but of course we offer all the equipment you need to keep you good and warm regardless of the weather conditions. But by all means remember to bring your camera/mobile phone so you will have some great memories of this wonderful trip!
Do you provide all the necessary equipment?
Yes, all of the equipment for a complete experience is included in the price with us. Depending on weather conditions you will get either a windproof jacket or warm suit and life jacket which is mandatory for all our trips. Ski goggles and gloves/polar mittens are also standard equipment when it's cold outside and we have some awesome buffs that everyone gets handed out before departure during the winter season.
Is it possible to take photos/film along the way?
Yes, on the tour there are several parties where we drive slowly and our skilled captains will tell you about the local history and point out great motifs that you can take pictures of along the way.
Are you guys driving fast?
Yes, there are some parties along the way where you really get to know the exciting feeling of speed. Our boats have a top speed of about 60 knots, which equates to 110-115 km/h, so this is certainly an experience you will rarely forget!
Is it safe?
Yes, we always adapt the speed according to the conditions to give everyone a safe and memorable experience. But it is important to know its limitations and we do not recommend people who are pregnant or have back problems to go out when conditions do not allow it.
